Love Letters

When Marshall Haglund built this giant letter "H" for our company showroom, we thought it would serve mostly as a demonstration of some of our unique capabilities in metal design and fabrication, as well as powder coating. However, a lot of people have commented that it is a novel sort of table (with the glass on top), or a kind of small library shelf, with books stacked on the crossbar of the "H."

Since it is an initial, it can also connote a name, which made my wife think that it would make a wonderful gift or memento, with the initial serving as a lasting reminder of being thought of at a special time. So, we are going to custom-make them for people to give as "Love Letters."

In addition to selling them, we are accepting nominations for a deserving person to receive one, with our compliments and yours, in time to deliver it by February 14 - Valentine's Day. We will fabricate and powder coat the nominated letter in the script and finish and size (up to 36" tall) of your choice for the worthy recipient, so send in your nominations. We are located in the center of Utah County and we will deliver it, at our expense, to any location within 50 miles of our shop, or with your payment for shipping we can send it wherever you'd like it to go. To make the Valentine's Day deadline, nominations for the complimentary Love Letter will have to be received by February 1st in order to be considered.

Nominations for a complimentary Love Letter recipient can be made by following the instructions you'll receive by clicking on the Love Letter link on our web site - utahwoodandiron.com - or by emailing us at utahwoodandiron@gmail.com. Be sure to mention Love Letter somewhere in that nomination.

Thank you for thinking of someone who could use the uplift from receiving a Love Letter from you and yours. Simply thinking of others is a wonderful, selfless act, and it is likely that after considering for a while, you will come up with more ideas for things to do that will make your corner of the world a better place. Remember - "never suppress a generous thought."

Happy Valentine's Day!

David Haglund
